With the recent market drop, it may be the time to invest in quality companies that are now paying a higher yield. I have had a focus on utilities and have now finished my review. Next I moved to semiconductors, as I have been following Intel (NASDAQ:INTC) and others. My review of Semiconductors led me to go long Intel today. I shorted September 19 puts (and wrote about it in an article you can read here). I hope this list is of as much value to you as it has been to me. I setup an EDGAR online screener to find semiconductors that pay a dividend. I don't want to look at all the stocks that pay a dividend, so I filtered the results based on the following:

  • Must trade at least 500K shares a day on average.
  • Dividend yield must be a minimum of 3%.
  • Must not have a payout ratio over 70% based on the last quarter.
Yield % Payout Ratio Recent Price P/E Ratio
ISIL 4.75 63.50 10.72 14.21
TSM 4.61 48.60 11.72 56.38
INTC 4.33 29.97 19.49 9.04
KLAC 4.14 21.07 35.31 7.62
AIXG 4.04 29.06 22.32 8.98
MXIM 4.03 50.87 22.48 14.09
LLTC 3.60 36.67 27.35 11.01
ADI 3.21 30.19 32.19 11.11
