Cramer's Lightning Round - A Bit Stunned By General Motors (9/6/11)

by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round session of Jim Cramer's Mad Money TV Program, Tuesday September 6.

Bullish Calls:

Caribou Coffee (NASDAQ:CBOU), Starbucks (NASDAQ:SBUX): "Caribou is good, Starbucks is better...SBUX is up today..."

El Paso Pipeline (NYSE:EPB): "That is a terrific stock with a 5% yield. I like it."

Bearish Calls:

General Motors (NYSE:GM): "I was a little stunned...the sales in China are slowing down big...the kicker of the GM story was China, and I see that China is being hit with stagflation."

Skyworks (NASDAQ:SWKS): "I would like you to be in Skyworks, but seasonality is not good...another 2 to 3 weeks and there will be a bottom...then we can pull the trigger...that is a really good one."

Sandridge Energy (NYSE:SD): "...people think they had a bad quarter...the big equity offering didn't go well...we need the CEO to come on the show and talk about what happened. That stock has been a dog. Without him coming on the show, I am concerned. I need to know more."
