David Tepper launched Appaloosa Management in 1993. He gained international recognition in 2003 when Appaloosa returned 148.8%. Additionally, Tepper’s Appaloosa Management realized 132% return in 2009 owing to investments in some of the largest banks of America. However, he is not as bullish about banks this time around.
