Ted Weschler has just been hired to help manage Berkshire Hathaway’s portfolio. Berkshire announced that Weschler will join the company as a portfolio manager at the beginning of next year.

Weschler is the founder and Managing Partner of Peninsula Capital Advisors, LLC based in Charlottesville, Virginia. The firm invests in the public equity and fixed income markets of the United States. It employs an opportunistic strategy to make its investments. As Berkshire hired Weschler, it is very likely that Berkshire would buy some of the stocks that Peninsula has in its portfolio. These are the stocks that Weschler knows and likes a lot.

Cincinnati Bell Inc: Cincinnati Bell is a full-service provider of data and voice communications services over wire line and wireless networks, a full-service provider of data center collocation and related managed services and a reseller of information technology and telephone equipment.
