We compiled the list of large cap high dividend paying stocks that have been recommended on Mad Money during the last 30 days. All companies in this list have a market capitalization above $5 billion and dividend yield of at least 3%. These 20 stocks returned 8% (including dividends) during the past 12 months.

CenturyLink provides a range of communications services, including voice, Internet, data and video services. CTL recently traded at $32.8 and has a 8.67% dividend yield. CTL lost 8.93% during the last 12 months. The stock has a market cap of $20.6 billion and P/E ratio of 14.2. Cramer gave CenturyLink a buy recommendation because it has a higher yield than AT&T (T) or Verizon (VZ), although it doesn’t have their growth potential. Phill Gross and Robert Atchinson hold the largest positions in CTL (check out Phill Gross’ other top holdings).

Southern Copper Corporation provides mining, smelting and refining of mineral properties in South America. SCCO recently traded at $26.25 and has a 7.84% dividend yield. SCCO lost 12.61% during the last 12 months. The stock has a market cap of $23.6 billion and P/E ratio of 11.9. Cramer gave this copper miner a buy recommendation. China accounts for 40% of the world’s copper demand (up from 10% 12 years ago). Southern Copper can only stand to benefit from China getting a grip on inflation. Cramer thinks this is a speculation play with a 7% yield and already does business in Peru and gets 73% of sales from copper.

Total SA is a France-based integrated international oil and gas company. TOT recently traded at $41.13 and has a 7.59% dividend yield. TOT lost 8.35% during the last 12 months. The stock has a market cap of $101.7 billion and P/E ratio of 6.1. TOT is held by 14 hedge funds, and Robert Rodriguez and Steven Romick hold the largest TOT position.

Kinder Morgan Energy Partners is a U.S. energy partnership providing energy products transportation and storage services. KMP recently traded at $68.88 and has a 6.51% dividend yield. KMP gained 8.99% during the last 12 months. The stock has a market cap of $23.3 billion and P/E ratio of 121.9. Michael Messner's Seminole Capital has the largest KMP position, holding more than $20 Million of the stock.

Altria Group Inc is engaged in the manufacture and sale of cigarettes and certain smokeless products. MO recently traded at $25.54 and has a 6.28% dividend yield. MO gained 16.19% during the last 12 months. The stock has a market cap of $54.1 billion and P/E ratio of 15.8. Tom Russo had $187 million in MO (check out Tom Russo’s top holdings).

Verizon Communications is a large telecommunications company operating worldwide. VZ announced to raise its annualized dividends per share from $1.95 to $2.00 next month. VZ recently traded at $35.3 and has a 5.58% dividend yield. VZ gained 16.74% during the last 12 months. The stock has a market cap of $101.4 billion and P/E ratio of 16.The stock has a market cap of $101.4 billion and P/E ratio of 16. Phil Gross' Adage Capital holds nearly $150 Million of VZ.

Sanofi is a global and diversified healthcare company. Cramer holds 2,600 shares of SNY stocks. SNY recently traded at $31.37 and has a 5.66% dividend yield. SNY gained 1.29% during the last 12 months. The stock has a market cap of $86.9 billion and P/E ratio of 14.3. Ken Fisher invested nearly $600 million in SNY (check out Fisher’s top stock picks).

El Paso owns and operates natural gas transportation pipelines and storage assets in the United States. EPB recently traded at $36.11 and has a 5.18% dividend yield. EPB gained 22.41% during the last 12 months. The stock has a market cap of $7.8 billion and P/E ratio of 18.7. This stock has a 29% profit margin and an EPS growth rate (5 year historical) of 20%.
