High dividend stocks did relatively well during the recent declines in the market. Some high dividend stocks couldn’t escape the carnage and did much worse than the market though. Some of these stocks might be significantly undervalued and offer unusually high dividend yields.

Below, we compiled a list of 12 large-cap stocks. These stocks have a market cap of higher than $2 Billion, a dividend yield of at least 4%, a P/E ratio of lower than 15, and a price-to-book ratio of less than 1.

Brookfield Properties Corporation (NYSE:BPO): Brookfield Office Properties owns, develops and operates commercial office properties. BPO has a dividend yield of 4.09% and lost 20.04% since the beginning of this year. It has a market cap of $6.89B, a P/E ratio of 3.75, and a P/B ratio of 0.72. Value investor Mohnish Pabrai invested around $50 million in BPO.

Irving Kahn had $55 million of NYB shares.
