On its Q2 earnings report, Delta missed both EPS and revenue estimates. It forecast “solidly profitable” Q3 results, and said it did not see any signs of demand weakness. Recent sentiment has been positive despite modestly lower traffic during the quarter. July traffic was flat, while August and September figures were down 0.3% and 0.9% respectively. The shares have risen approximately 10% since late July, and have made a recent jump of about 30% since early October.
