Kellogg cautioned on its last earnings call that it expects Q3 earnings to be down "slightly" year-over-year, due to "difficult" comparisons with a strong quarter a year ago. At that time, the company also expanded its full year sales growth guidance and guided toward FY11 EPS in a range of $3.42-$3.49. Consensus for full year earnings is currently near the high end of the company's forecast, at $3.48. The company's shares are slightly higher in early afternoon trade ahead of the call, up 19c, or 0.35%, to $53.75.
