No Accounting Fraud at Tyco? I Beg To Differ

Dennis Kozlowski's "absolutely not guilty" tear jerker on 60-minutes included this beauty of a quote when Morley Safer asked the Koz whether it made him angry to be lumped together (in the minds of the public) with Ken Lay and Bernie Ebbers:

That just frustrated me to no end. These are companies that had financial and accounting schemes, that had major scams and that wasn't Tyco.

Uh, er, excuse me, sir, but last time I looked Tyco (TYC) paid $50 million to settle SEC claim that the company inflated profits by more than $1 billion from 1996 through 2002.
