Dividend Contenders are stocks that have raised their dividends over a period of 10-24 consecutive years. They are on a direct path to becoming Dividend Champions (>25 years), and they have a huge reliance in terms of dividend continuity. Only 139 companies have such impressive dividend stability.

If we buy such a stock for less than the book value, we get a bargain in terms of reproduction value. In this case, the company’s equity is much higher than the current price at the market. If the company does not expect high losses, which decrease the book value, we can buy for pennies on the dollar.
