Welcome to the first article in what we hope will be a regular series on Seeking Alpha. Each week, we here in the Contributor Development group will select an author with some outstanding articles to feature on our home page over the weekend. Make sure to come back to Seeking Alpha to catch our latest author feature. If you have an author you would like to recommend, or any feedback, please let us know by emailing contributors@seekingalpha.com.

This week I'd like to introduce everyone to Lee Eugene Munson. Lee has been writing for Seeking Alpha since 2008, and in his time writing for us, has provided SA readers with great content, ideas, and advice. In 2011 Lee published his first book, "Rigged Money: Beating Wall Street at Its Own Game." Besides writing for Seeking Alpha, Lee is also the Chief Investment Officer of Portfolio, LLC, and has been on CNBC numerous times.

Recently Lee wrote a three-part series on how to beat ETFs by handpicking the top ETF holdings and comparing their performance to the ETF. Lee takes us through the selection process, and the final results are quite interesting. I recommend you take the time this weekend to read through the series; as 2012 rolls forward, the information here will be quite helpful.

Have a pleasant weekend and a happy 2012!
