by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round session of Jim Cramer's Mad Money TV Program, Thursday January 12.

Bullish Calls:

Schlumberger (NYSE:SLB): "It has become radically out of favor because of natural gas even though oil is going higher...this is on a path to long-term greatness...pull the trigger."

Kirby (NYSE:KEX): "It isn't done going up...even though it has pre-announced. Oil is expensive."

Nucor (NYSE:NUE): "NUE might be breaking out should buy it."

Kodiak Oil & Gas (NYSE:KOG): "All of these oils came down...that is a mistake. I know they are really high, but when they come in, you have to be a buyer of them."

Nordic American Tanker (NYSE:NAT): "The yield is 8%...the day rates are going up...I think NAT is going to be a terrific stock in 2012."

Robert Half International (NYSE:RHI): "I like it because employment is coming back."

Bearish Calls:

NetApp (NASDAQ:NTAP): "It's a hold here...we are waiting to see when this Thai flooding will recede, so hold it here...don't sell it."

CARBO Ceramics (NYSE:CRR): "I'm worried about it being replaced by other technologies. If you see other technologies creep in, sell it."

American Woodmark (NASDAQ:AMWD): "I don't have enough of a handle on it, except the chart is great and the sector is coming back."

Walgreen (WAG): "I'm worried about WAG. I like the remodeling...I now worry in spite of the fact the stores are great to look at, they will lose share to CVSCaremark over the problems with Express Scripts."
