Register.com Expensive.com? (RCOM)

According to Netcraft, Register.com (ticker: RCOM) has returned to the postion of being the most expensive domain name regisration service on the 'Net, now that its "special offer" of "only" $30 per domain name registration has ended. The real prices from competing services are actually hard to discern because they're often for bundled deals with web hosting. But most providers seem to come in at $8-$10 for a straight domain name registration, far below RCOM's price of $35. Table here.
