Looks like a solid quarter for Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT). The company reported revenue for its fiscal third quarter ended March of $14.4 billion and EPS of 50 cents a share, versus Street estimates of $13.89 billion and 46 cents. For the fiscal fourth quarter ending in June, the company sees revenue of $13.1 billion to $13.4 billion and EPS of 37-39 cents a share; the Street has been at $13.3 billion and 40 cents.
For fiscal 2008, the company sees revenue of $56.5 billion to $57.5 billion, with EPS of $1.68 to $1.72 a share; the Street had been at $56.24 billion and $1.69.
Revenues by segment: Client, $5.27 billion; Server, $2.75 billion; Online, $623 million; Business Division, $4.83 billion; Entertainment and Devices, $929 million.
After hours, Microsoft is up $1 at $30.10.
