Owens Corning (OC), Masco (MAS), Centex (CTX) and Cummins Engine (CMI): A strong quarter from OC, MAS and CTX indicate there are sectors that are moving, and while things are slow on the domestic scene, exporters are faring well. Cramer adds CMI is a "fabulous" exporter, even though "No one ever thought that Cummins Engine in Indiana even knew where Kazakhstan was."
Liz Claiborne (LIZ), Jones of New York (JNY): After disappointing reports from LIZ and JNY, Cramer is bearish on retail, and said LIZ was the worst report he had seen the entire quarter, while JNY was "really bad."
Buffalo Wild Wings (BWLD) and Chipotle Mexican Grill (CMG): Cramer says beer is the secret to BWLD's success and doesn't understand why it has such a sizeable short postition. He opined it might have something to do with BWLD's female management and added; "I think there's a lot of contempt for women on Wall Street." Cramer prefers CMG because "Chipotle is the story of the day."
