Looking for a new Theme with Target (TGT)

A major problem with the market is that it has "exhausted its themes." The buyout theme is worn out, and unless there is a new takeover every day, the market will not get a surge. Aerospace, agriculture and machinery are all old news, after all "there are only so many times" investors can buy Boeing. "Until we get new themes, we can't go anywhere," he said. Cramer did not revise his statment that retail is killing the market in spite of perceived good news from Target, because he doesn't see the company's report as saying May was spectacular, but that it was better than April. TGT is "anemic," remarked Cramer and its results are not strong enough to cause a second-day rally and counter the effects of high gasoline prices and interest rates.
