More detail from the comScore September Internet Traffic data. Total unique visitors on the 'Net, according to comScore, rose 6.9% year-over-year. Here's a list of sites with stronger and sites with weaker growth:
Strong year-over-year growth in unique visitors:
- Of the largest 'Net companies, Google grew fastest at 34%.
- United Online up 106%.
- Expedia up 43%.
- Wal-Mart.com up 41%.
- CNET up 31%.
- Verizon up 30%.
- Amazon up 26%.
Weak year-over-year growth in unique visitors:
- Ask Jeeves (owned by IAC) up only 1%.
- Lycos down 18%.
- MSN up only 2%.
- Monster Worldwide up only 2%.
