Looking for stocks with strong sales trends? For ideas on how to analyze a company's revenues, we ran a screen you may find interesting.

We began by screening for large-cap stocks from the tech sector. We then screened for positive trends in revenue relative to changeS in accounts receivable year-over-year: growth in revenue exceeding growth in accounts receivable, as well as accounts receivable comprising a smaller portion of current assets year over year.

Accounts receivable is the portion of revenue purchased on credit - these sales have not yet been received in cash, and there's no guarantee that it will be received in full. Therefore, the higher the proportion of accounts receivable relative to revenue, the lower the quality of revenue.
