Don't Bet Against Blackstone Group - Cramer's Lightning Round (2/9/16)

by: SA Editor Mohit Manghnani

Don't buy Lannett due to the political drama surrounding biotech stocks.

Bank stocks are tough right now.

Charles Schwab is good but cannot go higher till interest rates rise.

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round segment of Jim Cramer's Mad Money Program, Tuesday, February 9.

Bullish Call

Blackstone Group (NYSE:BX): "This is a private equity company, it might as well be called KKR (NYSE:KKR) or Carlyle (NASDAQ:CG), they don't have the liquidity to be able to bring companies public." The stock yields 10% which cannot be maintained by the company. Cramer does not want to bet against CEO Steve Schwarzman.

Bearish Calls

Lannett Company (NYSEMKT:LCI): Horizon Pharma (NASDAQ:HZNP) and Lannett are good, but don't buy them due to the political drama surrounding them.

PacWest (NASDAQ:PACW): The bank stocks are tough as Washington hates them.

Charles Schwab (NYSE:SCHW): The stock is not expensive but there is no catalyst to take it higher.
