Fidelity National Financial (FNF), Wells Fargo (WFC): "(about Fidelity)...not bad, regional, this group is strong...I will go with what Warren Buffett says...he likes Wells Fargo. I'm not going to disagree with that man."
Panera Bread (PNRA), Chipotle Mexican Grill (CMG), Yum Brands (YUM): "If I am in a restaurant chain, I either want radical growth, like Panera or CMG or I want stable growth, so I will give you YUM."
Kinder Morgan Energy Partners (KMP): "I'm going to focus on KMP... that is right."
Belden (BDC): "That is a good housing play...a good construction play. I see housing coming back, and that is going to be good for them."
Bearish Calls:
Bravo Brio Restaurant (BBRG): (recommended PNRA, CMG and YUM instead).
Frontier Communications (FTR): "They cut the dividend. I say sell, sell, sell."
Strayer (STRA): "I don't like any of those stocks. I think private education is not the place to be for the next few years."
HollyFrontier (HFC): "I'm going to give you the 'hold'...why not' sell?' I'm not crazy about the refiners, but they are not so bad you have to get rid of them. But I prefer something with a higher yield, and they don't have one."
