Ariad Pharmaceuticals Is A Speculative Buy - Cramer's Lightning Round (10/13/16)

by: SA Editor Mohit Manghnani

The better way to play MLPs is by owning a basket of MLP stocks.

Cramer remains bullish on OPKO Health.

Don't buy TPI Composites.

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round segment of Jim Cramer's Mad Money Program, Thursday, October 13.

Bullish Calls:

Kinder Morgan (NYSE:KMI): The stock is cheap, but Cramer lost faith in the KMI after the company cut the dividend. In his opinion, it's best to buy a basket of MLPs rather than a single stock.

OPKO Health (NYSEMKT:OPK): "It's not going to get reimbursed for one of its tests. Jeffries came out with an incredibly negative note about it. I remain faithful to Dr. Phil Frost, the CEO."

Ariad Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:ARIA): Cramer likes the stock, although he calls it speculative. He advised caution, as the environment for speculative biotechs is not great. Cramer likes Radius Health (NASDAQ:RDUS) too.

Bearish Call:

TPI Composites (NASDAQ:TPIC): "I think that this is part of a complex that has already had its day." Stay away.
