Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round session of Jim Cramer's Mad Money TV Program, Friday March 2.
Bullish Calls:
Citigroup (C): "There is some Citigroup paper, some bonds, that are trading back to par. That is a great sign of health. I would bless buying Citigroup, but you have to understand; it could be down 8-10% on a spike in oil."
Abiomed (ABMD): "Easy come, easy go. That group is out of favor. This is a long-term investment on a series of approvals I think are going to be good. I would hold it."
International Paper (IP): "They are going to be able to raise prices, the acquisition was brilliant. I think it is a strong buy, even up here."
Boardwalk Pipeline Partners (BWP): "It has a good yield, a solid company. I would buy it aggressively here."
Travelers Insurance (TRV): "...if you want a good insurer, go with Travelers."
Bearish Calls:
Lincoln National (LNC): "...wait until next year. I don't like the management. They did a lot of things that were not good. That is not an insurer I want you to buy."
Applied Materials (AMAT): "Look, but don't pull the trigger. They made a solar bet that was not so great, their regular equipment is just okay. I like the semis, but the yield isn't so good. I say ixnay on AMAT."
