Step aside, sex.com. The biggest domain name sale ever may have happened yesterday, and it wasn't for porn.
Lexico Publishing Group, the company behind Dictionary.com, Thesaurus.com and Reference.com just fetched $100 million, sold to publicly-traded Answers.com (ANSW).
This was about domain names, pure and simple. And at least until business.com goes for a few hundred million, this is a record-setter, me-thinks.
