Do you like to follow the buying trends of company insiders? Insiders such as members of the board and upper management report when they buy company shares, which is viewed by analysts as a very positive event because who knows the company better than its insiders.

With this idea in mind, we ran a screen on the S&P 500 for stocks rallying above their 20-day, 50-day, and 200-day moving averages for those with the highest net insider purchases over the last six months. This indicates that company insiders expect these names - their employers - to outperform.
