Cramer's Lightning Round - Telefonica Is Like Marathon Man (3/13/12)

by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round session of Jim Cramer's Mad Money TV Program, Tuesday March 13.

Bullish Calls:

Intel (NASDAQ:INTC): "...great balance sheet...good yield. Lots of different ways to make money, but don't count on Intel TV."

Plains All American Pipeline (NYSE:PAA): "I think that you are right. The distribution will go higher. Watch out. People are worried about anything to do with natural gas...but it is mainly oil."

Monster Beverage (NASDAQ:MNST): "I think it is a great secular growth story..."

Bearish Calls:

Telefonica (NYSE:TEF): "It is not safe (the 12.9% dividend). It's like Marathon Man. It's not safe at all."

Inergy (NRGY): "No. It is propane. After this mild winter, everyone has too much propane."

Diamond Foods (NASDAQ:DMND): "I think we are going to find out (more about its accounting problems) eventually...they have Alex & Partners, the best forensic accountant in the country, but until we get the report from Alex & Partners, and they give it a clean bill of health...I will say 'don't buy.'"
