Banking and exporter stocks suffered a minor correction today in Tokyo, meaning their ADRs will most likely drop as well. Only NEC (ticker: NIPNY) and Honda Motor (ticker: HMC) were able to make any gains among shares with ADRs traded in Tokyo, up 1.40% and .60% respectively. Advantest (ticker: ATE) was the biggest loser due to profit taking after a very strong month in which its shares gained 30%.

TOPIX: -8.36 (-0.54%) closed at 1,536.21, opened about 6 points higher than prior close of 1,544.57, intra-day high of 1,553.27, low was at closing
JASDAQ: +0.93 (+0.84%) closed at 111.61, intra-day high was at closing, low at 110.95
