Cramer's Lightning Round - Broadcom Is My Favorite Semiconductor (4/10/12)

by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round session of Jim Cramer's Mad Money TV Program, Tuesday April 10.

Bullish Calls:

Broadcom (BRCM): "This is my favorite semiconductor play. We think BRCM is the cheapest tech stock there is. I want to buy it right here."

Monsanto (NYSE:MON): "This stock has been destroyed, along with the whole agriculture sector...It is not that bad. I like Monsanto I want to make a stand? The stock is in free fall, but I would be buying rather than selling."

Heckmann Corporation (HEK): "Is the stock I'm the most ridiculed about on Twitter...the stock could go down...I believe the stock is going to come back you load up the boat on HEK? You don't load up the boat in anything."

Owens Corning (NYSE:OC): "I like it...I like the housing plays. The stock can go down to $30 to $31 before I would buy it, because this market has gotten nasty, and I want to buy it right."

Bearish Calls:

Suncor Energy (NYSE:SU): "Here is the needs the highest price available. It needs oil to go up. I think oil can go down. SU isn't what I want to own. I agree oil is coming lower and I want to buy something that doesn't yield 1.5% like Suncor but yields 4% to 4.5%."

Applied Materials (NASDAQ:AMAT): "Yields 3%. It is not going anywhere. I'm going to say 'don't buy.'"

Vivus (NASDAQ:VVUS): "I want to ring the register...sell...because the good news is now out."

Silicon Graphics (NASDAQ:SGI): "This stock is down way, way too much. They have missed and missed, but I'm not going to tell you to sell it down here, because it is too low to sell."
