So far this earnings season, 72% of companies have beaten estimates. Earnings season still has a long way to go, however, and next week we'll see double the total amount of reports we've gotten over the past two weeks.
Below is a table of the key companies set to report next week. For each company, we highlight its expected report date and time as well as its historical earnings beat and miss rate from our Interactive Earnings Report Database (available to Bespoke Premium Plus members). We also highlight each stock's average one-day change on its historical earnings report days. (For companies that report after the close in the evening, we use the next day's change.)
Monday will be a relatively slow day for earnings, but Tuesday will be the most important day this reporting period when Apple (AAPL) reports after the close. As shown, Apple has beaten estimates 88% of the time over its last 42 quarterly reports, and it has averaged a gain of 1.80% on these days. With the stock falling 10% over the last two weeks, expectations have likely been tempered at least. COH, MMM, T, UTX, X, AMGN, BIDU, BWLD and PNRA all report on Tuesday as well.
