AT&T (NYSE:T), Verizon (NYSE:VZ): "AT&T is going to have a good quarter, but I like Verizon better because they are signing more people up for the iPhone as a percentage."

Pengrowth Energy Trust (NYSE:PGH): "It is a is down a huge amount. That is an overreaction."

Bearish Calls:

Sprint (NYSE:S): "There are some corporate bonds I like better than owning the common stock...if you realize the common stock is an option, it's okay. It isn't much of a common stock."

Gannett (NYSE:GCI): "No, I don't like newspapers. I know they seem cheap on a valuation basis, but they are not for me."

FARO Technologies (NASDAQ:FARO): "I don't want to own a new tech stock here...don't buy."

Hess (NYSE:HES): "I know it is inexpensive, downgraded today, but it has underperformed and it is undermanaged...there are other oil stocks I like better that are coming in."
