New Frontier Energy: Ramping Up Production in Wyoming's Atlantic Rim

New Frontier Energy, Inc. (NFEI.OB) is an independent natural resource company with interests in three principal properties - the Slater Dome Field, Focus Ranch Federal Unit, and Flattops Prospect. The acreage is located in the Sand Wash Basin or Atlantic Rim area near the Colorado / Wyoming border, where several successful CBM operations are underway. The Slater Dome Field has been producing gas since June of 2005.

Three O&G producers in the area, Anadarko Petroleum (APC), Warren Resources (WRES), and Double Eagle Petroleum (DBLE), recently received approval to drill an additional 1800 CBM wells immediately to the north of New Frontier Energy's acreage. The year ahead looks to be an exciting year for gas development in the Atlantic Rim region.

NFEI facts:

• Producing gas since June 2005
• Doubled working interest to 66%, and became operator at the Slater Dome Field in Dec 2006
• Achieved four-fold increase in gas production with the 2007 field work over program -Gross production now exceeds 1 million cubic feet p/day
• 12 BCF proven - next reserve report expected in March 2008
• 6 new wells were drilled in 2007, with 3 more planned before year end
• Acquired 75% working interest in the Focus Ranch Unit during 2007, increasing land position in the area to approx. 67,000 net acres

Production at the Slater Dome Field is expected to ramp up sharply during the first quarter of 2008, as additional compression equipment is added, and new wells drilled during 2007 are connected to the pipeline.

New Frontier Energy is focusing on expanding CBM gas production at the Slater Dome Field, and exploring the adjacent Focus Ranch Unit and Flattops prospects during 2008. The company owns a majority of the limited partnership interests in an 18-mile gas gathering line that delivers gas from the Slater Dome Field to a transportation hub in Baggs Wyoming.
