In the past we have asked readers to guess the best and worst performing stocks of the Dow 30 to see how in tune they were with the markets. Below we get right to the point. Merck (MRK), Honeywell (HON), McDonald's (MCD) and Intel (INTC) are the top four performing Dow stocks on the year, while Citigroup (C), Home Depot (HD), AIG (AIG) and Pfizer (PFE) are the bottom four. Citigroup leads the Dow decliners at -35% on the year!

But what do analysts think is in store for the Dow stocks going forward? Below we highlight the current consensus price targets for each of the 30 stocks in the index. Currently, Walt Disney (DIS), IBM (IBM), AIG (AIG) and JPMorgan (JPM) have price targets the furthest above their current prices, while Merck (MRK), Exxon Mobil (XOM), Procter & Gamble (PG) and Coca-Cola (KO) have price targets the closest to their current prices. When we combine the targets of all 30 stocks, we get a price target of 15,337 for the overall index -- 15.92% above current levels.
