Corporate insiders, while not omniscient, do have (or at least should have) intimate knowledge of their companies. We are particularly fond of insider buying — we know it doesn’t always turn out to be right, but it does give us outsiders a vote of confidence in an investment under question.

Here's some insider activity of note: Tens of millions of dollars recently went to buy shares in Equus II (EQS), a closed-end fund trading at a 26.5% discount to its Net Asset Value. We first discussed EQS in November in this post.
