The forces arrayed against bearish conditions are growing ever more powerful. The powers that be will not tolerate any serious market declines and are doing everything they can to prevent it including: adding humongous amounts of reserves via repurchase agreements, printing money, buying stock via SWFs [a relatively new player with tons of cash], trading desks with in-house fee business to protect, and with well-timed jawboning efforts from on high.

That’s the deal we have - or so it seems.
