Jim Cramer's Mad Money Lightning Round, 11/29/07: Dolby Loud and Clear
Stocks discussed in the lightning round session of Jim Cramer’s Mad Money TV program, Wednesday November 7. Click on a stock ticker for more analysis:
Bullish calls:
Tesoro (TSO)
Marathon Oil (MRO): 'I get refining, and I get great oil, and I get a cheap stock. The symbol is MRO!'
Shanda Interactive Entertainment (SNDA): 'SNDA is best of breed. The stock that went up 10 points... I got off it, because I couldn't take the heat... It continues to go up.'
CBRL (CBRL): 'I want you to buy more. Why? Because the company keeps buying stock … Those [CRBL and Sonic] will not be public two years from now, if they keep at this pace.'
Sirius Satellite Radio (SIRI): '…that stock has now been up 20% and, you know what? It's not done … I think the merger is going through … I'd continue to buy it, until it gets to $5.'
McDonald's (MCD): 'You let it ride my friend! … Best-managed restaurant chain... the big dividend... I think it goes to $65 … Two thumbs up!'
Dolby Laboratories (DLB): '…. a monster-good stock … it is one of the rare stocks that is at a 52-week high, I still want to buy it!'
Verizon (VZ): 'I think you're right! That's probably the market being too negative. But remember, I can give you the two-fer... I like VZ and I like AT&T Inc.'
AT&T (T)
Diana Shipping (DSX): 'Rates are starting to go up for his ships …Finally I am willing to say despite that CEO's negativity, that I think you can buy more DSX!'
UnitedHealth (UNH): 'It's finally coming together … I'm thinking, at $55, that maybe it's getting a little pricy. Warren Buffett's in there with me... I'm a scale seller above $55, $56... but UNH is pretty good!'
Freeport-McMoRan (FCX)
Bearish calls:
Volt Information Sciences (VOL): 'It's not necessarily the best of breed. I can't recommend it. It sure looks cheap but, going into a slowdown, you can't own that stock!'
Perfect World (PWRD)
Ambac (ABK)
PMI Group (PMI): 'I have written endlessly... that I think that ABK, MBIA Inc, PMI Group Inc, and MGIC Investment Corp., are all horrible stocks that are in complete and utter denial about what's going on in the mortgage market.'
MGIC Investment (MTG)
MBIA (MBI)
Taseko Mines (TGB)
Playboy Enterprises (PLA)
