Costco (NASDAQ:COST) said Thursday same-store sales jumped 9% in November, including a boost from higher gasoline prices. Net of gasoline prices, same-store sales would have risen 4%. Analysts polled by Reuters were expecting a 6.6% rise, inclusive of gas prices. The largest U.S. warehouse club said total sales jumped 13% percent to $5.72 billion. U.S. same-store sales rose 6%, while international same-store sales jumped 21% from a year ago. November's 9% gain matched that of October.
