When companies report their earnings every quarter, sometimes they surprise the market with a terrific report that causes the stock price to rise sharply, pricing in the good news. If you believe that companies can consistently surprise the market, you may be interested in this list.

We ran a screen on this week's reporting companies for those with a history of surprising the market, with an average earnings surprise of at least 25% over the last five quarterly reports.

We then screened for those with strong positive market sentiment going into their reports - these stocks are also rallying above their 20-day, 50-day, and 200-day moving averages.
