Below we highlight our trading range charts of 8 key commodities. When the price moves above or below the green shading, the commodity becomes overbought or oversold.

As shown in the charts, most commodities are currently within their normal trading ranges. Platinum is the only commodity trading above its trading range, while Coffee has moved to the very top.

Copper is the closest to oversold territory, while Oil and Natural Gas are just about in the middle.

    Nice article. Being an equities guy, I have no idea where to find chartable info on commodities as you offer here. Can you point me to a chart source that is free that provides information on commodities as shown above? Once again, nice article.

    Interesting piece, but... what indicator does the green shading represent? What makes it a validated indicator of oversold/overbought? thanks.
