Cramer's Lightning Round - I Really Don't Like Hewlett-Packard (5/10/12)

by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round session of Jim Cramer's Mad Money TV Program, Thursday May 10.

Bullish Calls:

Hercules Offshore (NASDAQ:HERO): "This is a dicey stock, but as long as you consider it as spec...these are stocks where you are rolling the dice on oil going higher. They are long-term calls on oil."

Prudential (NYSE:PRU): "If it gets hit on the disappointment from JPMorgan tomorrow, it might be a buy. But it doesn't have the kind of yield protection you's at 2.8%...4% is better...but I like it more than I liked it at $60."

Bearish Calls:

Hewlett-Packard (NYSE:HPQ): "Wow, I don't like that stock at all. I think it could go much lower. I haven't liked it for a long time."

Pan American Silver (NASDAQ:PAAS): "It is the best house in a shaky neighborhood. I don't want to own any of these miners...I've been saying that for a long time."

Chesapeake Granite Wash Trust (NYSE:CHKR): "I don't want to own it right now, even though it has an 11% yield. I think you buy it lower."

Deere (NYSE:DE): "It is a good company, but the commodity markets are weak. Grains are going lower. I want you to be very careful."
