The Microcap Speculator submits: I just started a position in NewMarket Technologies (ticker: NMKT.ob), a company which combines systems integration with value-added services like VoIP.
While the chart is nothing to get excited about, NewMarket's growth is impressive. According to company statistics, NewMarket's revenues have grown quarter-to-quarter by an average of 40% over the last two years. Shareholder equity has grown 29% quarter-to-quarter during the same period. NewMarket ranks Number 13 on the 2005 Deloitte Technology Fast 500, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in North America. The company is profitable, although not consistently so. NMKT has substantial operations not only in the United States, but also in China, Latin America, and Europe.
The company will hold a "shareholder town hall meeting" on December 15. Per the press release, "the main topic of the meeting will be aligning public market capitalization growth with sales, profit and shareholder equity growth." I think that could be a catalyst to get the stock moving again. In the meantime, I plan on accumulating this one between .30-.33.
