Cramer's Lightning Round - Huntington Is Good For A Bank (5/11/12)

by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round session of Jim Cramer's Mad Money TV Program, Friday May 11.

Bullish Calls:

Huntington Bancshares (NASDAQ:HBAN): "It's good, but it's a bank, and no one likes banks. You can buy it under $6."

Dow Chemical (NYSE:DOW), DuPont (NYSE:DD): "DuPont is terrific, and Dow yields 4%. I like Dow, even though it has European weakness."

Coca-Cola Enterprises (NYSE:CCE): "Good company ... nice, steady grower."

Bearish Calls:

Ultra Petroleum (UPL): "That is a low cost producer, but that doesn't do it for me. I need a company that is positioning out of natural gas and going int oil. We are going to have to say no to UPL, even though it has great management."

BGC Partners (NASDAQ:BGCP): "It has a big yield and its levered to brokerage ... and even though that part of the brokerage is doing fine, people are not doing a lot of trading, and that does hurt the cohort."

Brocade Communications (NASDAQ:BRCD): "It's a big spec, and you are hoping for a takeover. I don't like a situation where I need a takeover."

Enerplus (NYSE:ERF): "A lot of people think it is a really great story. It's got a great yield ... there is some management turmoil. I'm going to put that on hold. Don't buy. It is too risky for me to recommend."
