OK, not so fast. The "best sellers" are fluctuating wildly because of after Christmas sale prices. And perhaps a better calibration would be to weight the items by (say) price to get an idea of what consumers are most willing to spend their money on.

i can not agree with your assement of the $200 level for Apple---i pose this question --just could it be the formation of a new base or level from which Apple will go in value--I have owned this stock since it was $85.00 and this has been a pattern for the last nine months

The markets (DJIA) performance this week as down -0.63% on very light volume, but dare I say the sentiment seemed to be bullish, and only to be offset by negative news (rising oil prices on PKK/Turkish skirmish, Butto assination, and poor housing data for Nov, etc.), but looking at yesterdays DJIA intraday chart you can see a reasonably powerful 170 points recovery from midday onwards. Given the unexpectedly (?) poor housing data, this recovery could suggest a bullish sentiment for the first week of January. If this is the case, AAPL seems poised to be a front runner, after all it's currently at $199.83, and this week alone gained 3.05%.

Does PS3 is closing the gap from WII?
Is it matter of price or is WII is really better console than PS3/XBox?

I suspect that you are short apple with your blatantly inaccurate claim that the power shot is the top selling electronic device when apple has consistently had its ipods claiming 5 out of the top 10 best selling spots including the top spot

There are probably a lot of people who had 200 set as a target, but it will blow past 200 just like it blew past 100--earlier this year. Apple's Christmas sales will be unbelievable.

And another thing... look at what the rest of the market did, and look at what happened to BOTH Netflix AND Blockbuster.

Apple will rise, at least prior to MacWorld, there just hasn't been a run yet.
