4 China Themes for Early 2008

As a quick preview of some of things I'll be looking at in the month of January:

1) Impact of the Beijing Olympics - on travel and tourism - Universal Travel Group (UTVG.OB), Intelisys Aviation [IAVA.OB], outdoor advertising - Network CN (NWCN.OB) and transportation information system - China TransInfo Technology (CTFO.OB).

2) Effects of high crude oil prices - on alternative fuels - China Clean Energy (CCGY.OB), Sinoenergy (SNEN.OB), small cars manufacturer - Kandi Technologies (KNDI.OB) and coal usage - Puda Coal (PUDC.OB).

3) Food supply and integrity issues - as they relate to organic produce and fertilizers - China Organic Agriculture (CNOA.OB), China Agritech (CAGC.OB), glucose production - Shengtai Pharmaceutical, Inc. (SGTI.OB) and veterinary medicines - Skystar Bio-Pharmaceutical (SKBI.OB), Kiwa Bio-Tech (KWBT.OB).

I've no doubt some of these special situations will result in great buying opportunities.

My Position: Long UTVG.OB, IAVA.OB.
