My recent article discussed the positive impact for Ascena Retail Group and the integration of the three clothing brands from Charming Shoppes. Ascena Retail Group owns Justice, Maurices, and Dressbarn. Charming Shoppes shares trade close to their acquisition target. There really isn't a play on shares of Charming Shoppes here, but I highly recommend taking a look at acquiring company Ascena Retail. Ascena Retail has taken acquired brands, like Justice, and transformed them under its ownership. The possibility of maximizing sales in the plus size women's clothing market, led by Charming Shoppes. I have a price target on Ascena Retail of $30.
Disclosure: I have no positions in any stocks mentioned, but may initiate a long position in ASNA over the next 72 hours.
