Next week is a busy time for earnings, with many quarterly releases scheduled and lots of stocks to watch. However, my focus is on 12 of them that have earnings due in the next week. Use this list as a potential starting point for your analysis.

1. IHS Inc (NYSE:IHS): June 18, 2012

IHS Inc. is a source of information and insight in areas, such as energy and power; design and supply chain; defense, risk, and security; environment, health and safety and sustainability; country and industry forecasting, and commodities, pricing, and cost.

IHS has a market cap of $6.62 billion and will report its second quarter earnings results on June 18, 2012, after market close. The second quarter revenues are expected to be $383.52 million when compared to $325.12 million for the same quarter last year. Earnings per share for the second quarter are expected to be 94 cents a share up from 83 cents a share in the year-ago period. IHS is currently trading around $101.24 with a 52 week range of $67.88 to $103.25. The stock has risen 17.54% year to date.

2. Barnes & Noble, Inc (NYSE:BKS): June 19, 2012

Barnes & Noble, Inc. operates as a content, commerce, and technology company in the United States. It provides access to books, magazines, newspapers, and other content through its multi-channel distribution platform.

Barnes & Noble has a market cap of $957.18 million and will report its fourth quarter earnings results on June 19, 2012, before market open. The fourth quarter revenues are expected to be $1.48 billion when compared to $1.37 billion for the same quarter last year. Earnings per share for the fourth quarter are expected to be a loss of 93 cents a share up from a loss of $1.04 a share in the year-ago period. Barnes & Noble is currently trading around $15.64 with a 52 week range of $9.35 to $26.00. The stock has gained 8.01% year to date.

3. Jabil Circuit, Inc (NYSE:JBL): June 19, 2012

Jabil Circuit, Inc., together with its subsidiaries, provides electronic manufacturing services and solutions worldwide. Jabil operates in three segments: Diversified Manufacturing Services (DMS), Enterprise & Infrastructure (E&I) and High Velocity Systems (HVS).

Jabil Circuit has a market cap of $3.96 billion and will report its third quarter earnings results on June 19, 2012, after market close. The third quarter revenues are expected to be $4.30 billion when compared to $4.23 billion for the same quarter last year. Earnings per share for the third quarter are expected to be 65 cents a share up from 58 cents a share in the year-ago period. Jabil Circuit is currently trading around $19.30 with a 52 week range of $13.94 to $27.40. The stock has fallen 2.03% year to date.

4. La-Z-Boy Incorporated (NYSE:LZB): June 19, 2012

La-Z-Boy Incorporated manufactures, markets, imports, distributes, and retails upholstery products, accessories, and case goods furniture products under the La-Z-Boy brand name in the United States and Canada. It operates in three segments: Upholstery Group, Case goods Group, and Retail Group.

La-Z-Boy has a market cap of $714.39 million and will report its fourth quarter earnings results on June 19, 2012, after market close. The fourth quarter revenues are expected to be $333.72 million when compared to $338.90 million for the same quarter last year. Earnings per share for the fourth quarter are expected to be 26 cents a share up from 24 cents a share in the year-ago period. La-Z-Boy is currently trading around $13.81 with a 52 week range of $6.76 to $16.43. The stock has gained 16.05% year to date.

5. FSI International, Inc (NASDAQ:FSII): June 19, 2012

FSI International, Inc. designs, manufactures, markets, and supports equipment used in the fabrication of microelectronics. FSI manufactures, markets and supports surface conditioning equipment that uses wet, cryogenic and other chemistry techniques to clean, strip or etch the surfaces of silicon wafers and supplies refurbished microlithography products, which are used to deposit and develop light sensitive films.

FSI International has a market cap of $132.85 million and will report its third quarter earnings results on June 19, 2012, after market close. The third quarter revenues are expected to be $50.40 million when compared to $25.60 million for the same quarter last year. Earnings per share for the third quarter are expected to be 21 cents a share up from 10 cents a share in the year-ago period. FSI International is currently trading around $3.39 with a 52 week range of $1.70 to $5.44. The stock has fallen 7.38% year to date.

6. Adobe Systems Incorporated (NASDAQ:ADBE): June 19, 2012

Adobe Systems Incorporated operates as a diversified software company worldwide. It offers a line of software and services used by creative professionals, marketers, knowledge workers, application developers, enterprises, and consumers.

Adobe has a market cap of $15.70 billion and will report its second quarter earnings results on June 19, 2012, after market close. The second quarter revenues are expected to be $1.11 billion when compared to $1.02 billion for the same quarter last year. Earnings per share for the second quarter are expected to be 59 cents a share up from 55 cents a share in the year-ago period. Adobe is currently trading around $31.65 with a 52 week range of $22.67 to $34.78. The stock has risen 11.96% year to date.

7. FedEx Corporation (NYSE:FDX): June 19, 2012

FedEx Corporation (FedEx), is a holding company. It provides a portfolio of transportation, e-commerce and business services under the FedEx brand. The Company operates in four segments: FedEx Express, FedEx Ground, FedEx Freight and FedEx Services.

FedEx has a market cap of $27.38 billion and will report its fourth quarter earnings results on June 19, 2012, before market open. The fourth quarter revenues are expected to be $11.13 billion when compared to $10.55 billion for the same quarter last year. Earnings per share for the fourth quarter are expected to be $1.92 a share up from $1.75 a share in the year-ago period. FedEx is currently trading around $86.22 with a 52 week range of $64.07 to $98.66. The stock has gained 3.1% year to date.

8. Actuant Corporation (NYSE:ATU): June 20, 2012

Actuant Corporation designs, manufactures and distributes a range of industrial products and systems. The Industrial segment is primarily involved in the design, manufacture and distribution of branded hydraulic and mechanical tools to the maintenance, industrial, infrastructure and production automation markets.

Actuant has a market cap of $1.80 billion and will report its third quarter earnings results on June 20, 2012, before market open. The third quarter revenues are expected to be $429.21 million when compared to $392.78 million for the same quarter last year. Earnings per share for the third quarter are expected to be 59 cents a share up from 51 cents a share in the year-ago period. Actuant is currently trading around $26.3 with a 52 week range of $17.47 to $29.97. The stock has gained 15.91% year to date.

9. Red Hat, Inc (NYSE:RHT): June 20, 2012

Red Hat, Inc. provides open source software solutions to enterprises worldwide. It also offers enterprise-ready open source operating system platforms.

Red Hat has a market cap of $10.75 billion and will report its first quarter earnings results on June 20, 2012, after market close. The first quarter revenues are expected to be $310.87 million when compared to $264.75 million for the same quarter last year. Earnings per share for the first quarter are expected to be 27 cents a share up from 24 cents a share in the year-ago period. Red Hat is currently trading around $55.76 with a 52 week range of $31.77 to $62.75. The stock has gained 35.04% year to date.

10. Bed Bath & Beyond Inc (NASDAQ:BBBY): June 20, 2012

Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. is a chain of retail stores, operating under the names Bed Bath & Beyond (BBB). The Company sells a range of domestics merchandise and home furnishings.

Bed Bath & Beyond has a market cap of $16.46 billion and will report its first quarter earnings results on June 20, 2012, after market close. The first quarter revenues are expected to be $2.25 billion when compared to $2.11 billion for the same quarter last year. Earnings per share for the first quarter are expected to be 84 cents a share up from 72 cents a share in the year-ago period. Bed Bath & Beyond is currently trading around $70.81 with a 52 week range of $48.75 to $74.67. The stock has risen 22.15% year to date.

11. Rite Aid Corporation (NYSE:RAD): June 21, 2012

Rite Aid Corporation, through its subsidiaries, operates retail drugstores in the United States. The company's drugstores primarily offer pharmacy services.

Rite Aid has a market cap of $1.11 billion and will report its first quarter earnings results on June 21, 2012, before market open. The first quarter revenues are expected to be $6.44 billion when compared to $6.39 billion for the same quarter last year. Earnings per share for the first quarter are expected to be a loss of 3 cents a share up from a loss of 7 cents a share in the year-ago period. Rite Aid is currently trading around $1.23 with a 52 week range of $0.85 to $2.12. The stock has fallen 2.38% year to date.

12. Oracle Corporation (NYSE:ORCL): June 21, 2012

Oracle Corporation, an enterprise software company, develops, manufactures, markets, distributes, and services database and middleware software, applications software, and hardware systems worldwide.

Oracle has a market cap of $135.12 billion and will report its fourth quarter earnings results on June 21, 2012, after market close. The fourth quarter revenues are expected to be $10.90 billion when compared to $10.81 billion for the same quarter last year. Earnings per share for the fourth quarter are expected to be 78 cents a share up from 75 cents a share in the year-ago period. Oracle is currently trading around $27.24 with a 52 week range of $24.72 to $34.13. The stock has gained 5.96% year to date.
