Recap of Jim Cramer’s comments on Stop Trading! Tuesday March 4. Click on a stock ticker for more analysis:
AT &T (T), Exxon Mobil (XOM), XTO Energy (XTO), Transocean (RIG): Cramer is bullish on T and commented, “It bounces here every time, because of that yield.” He also likes oil and would buy XOM, XTO or RIG on any decline. He noted RIG’s tendency to go to $20 and back to $10 and suggested investors take the long-term view.
Hudson City Bankcorp (HCBK), Citigroup (C): Cramer would avoid banks that have any exposure to California and Florida mortgages. He noted HCBK stayed out of those dangerous markets and is thriving while C dropped from $50 to $20. He urged investors not to be skittish about the buying and commented, "I want to buy this market. The put buying is off the charts. It cannot be right."
