John Deere (DE): “Deere’s gonna mark time here… I think long term it goes higher because we are in a world food shortage…if it goes down to $75 buy more.”
Wal-Mart (WMT): “An up stock…Wal mart is going to have an excellent quarter…finally WMT is passing Target in same store sales numbers…wait for $53 to buy…WMT is right for this environment.”
Best Buy (BBY): “Best Buy is wiping the floor with them [Circuit City].”
Conco-Phillips (COP)
BP (BP): “That’s a nice hybrid.”
Gilead (GILD): “One of the best-acting stocks…still the most attractive bio tech name in the chart book.
Bearish calls:
Circuit City (CC): “Sell sell sell..Best Buy is wiping the floor with them.”
Tesoro (TSO)
Akami Technologies (AKAM): “That stock is red hot but I don’t trust it…I don’t want to be there. “
Google (GOOG): “I would schnitzel (take some profits) a little Google. I am not an internet fan here.”
Focus Media (FMCN): “I like Focus Media… its an Olympics play…I’m having a hard time (in China) the market has gotten way too hot…I am not willing to put your money in China.”
