El Paso Corp (EP): “It s a very cheap natural gas play… I do like EP as a speculative natural gas.”
Corning (GLW): “I’ve been scaling out…they are at a 52-week high… It’s getting a little north… if GLW goes to 22 buy more.”
BP (BP): “Very controversial…I know it is a terrible company, I know they are getting rid of their green project…I know it is mismanaged… but they have a beautiful yield and they are in the energy sector…even they can’t mess that up.”
Schering-Plough (SGP): “….they finally let up…I still say SGP is a good stock…I still say it is better than Pfizer…and I don’t care that up until now I’ve been wrong.”
First Solar (FSLR)

Bearish calls:

Intercontinental Hotels (IHG): “ …a not great hotel chain in an industry I don’t’ really care for.”
Pfizer (PFE): “PFE is like a bond without any growth, I don’t like anything PFE is doing. Sell sell sell.”
NewMarket (NEU): “It’s been going up on guys who are in panic… it has noting really special except the fact it is a giant short squeeze.”
Citrix Systems (CTXS): “I think that is a tech that does not have a good product cycle going …Too dicey.”
Dendreon (DNDN): “ …is a very controversial company…I don’t like it I don’t think it has anything going for it… people hate me for saying that but I don’t care.”
Sandisk (SNDK): “NO, no no ... this is a stock that is commoditized…not a proprietary tech. I don’t want you to own SNDK.”
Live Nation (LYV): “Every time I enter these entertainment companies, I lose my shirt.”
Bear Stearns (BSC): “No, no…may I reiterate if your money is in Bear Stearns you’re fine but the stock is not.”
