Cramer's Lightning Round - Something Is Going On At Sprint (7/16/12)

by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round session of Jim Cramer's Mad Money TV Program, Monday July 16.

Bullish Calls:

Sprint (NYSE:S): "Something is going on at Sprint...a turn in the business or a takeover. Both (scenarios) are really good. Don't sell Sprint."

Threshold Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:THLD): "This stock has had a monster move. This is the kind of biotech I like so much. I would regard this as a spec play and not a healthcare play."

National Cash Register (NYSE:NCR): "I take my hat off to the CEO. I can't believe it is doing as well as it finally turned."

SPDR GoldTrust ETF (NYSEARCA:GLD): "I do like it below $150. I think Europe will come to its senses and start printing money. Get in ahead of that."

Heckmann Corporation (HEK): "If you are in it for the long-term, I'm going to embrace it."

Bearish Calls:

Coinstar (NASDAQ:CSTR): "There is too much controversy. This is a battleground stock, and I don't need battlegrounds."

AGCO Corporation (NYSE:AGCO), Deere (NYSE:DE): "AGCO is too risky. I don't like Deere here, either. If you want to play agriculture, you have to go with seeds or fertilizer, and those are too red hot."

World Wrestling Entertainment (NYSE:WWE): "You don't want has no growth whatsoever."

Freeport McMoRan (NYSE:FCX): "When this goes to a 4% yield, that is where it will bottom. You have to hold it until under $30, and it will be safe to buy."
