ARM Holdings (ARMH), Apple (AAPL): "ARMH is good, because they are a play on Apple, but if I want a play on Apple, I want to buy Apple."
Dow Chemical (DOW): "If I want to own a commodity chemical maker, I would own Dow. I like the 4.4% yield."
ConEdison (ED): "They have that consistent yield that goes higher, and they are winning on the switchover from oil to natural gas (for utilities). They don't have environmental risk."
Annaly Capital Mortgage (NLY): "...has a great long-term record."
Cobalt International Energy (CIE): "That is a high-risk, high-reward stock. It is an energy stock that is a speculative stock. As long as you understand the risk, I will bless it."
US Airways Group (LCC): "I think that if you have to own an airline, and I don't want to, but this company could be buying AMR, and that could be a good combination. I will bless LCC for a trade."
Health Care REIT (HCN): "...that has a 4.6% yield. It is very underrated in the group. It doesn't have the kind of exposure to the things people are worried about (in that industry)."
Nvidia (NVDA): "If you have to own a speculative tech stock, I'm going to send you to Nvidia. They've got a big Apple business. Why am I not pushing it hard? Because the semiconductors are so hard to own."
Bearish Calls:
Methanex (MEOH): Cramer prefers Dow Chemical.
Two Harbors Investment Group (TWO): Cramer prefers Annaly.
