A Rest for Rails - Cramer's Stop Trading! (5/20/08)

 |  Includes: HON, HPQ, NUE, UNP
by: Miriam Metzinger

Recap of Jim Cramer’s comments on Stop Trading! Tuesday May 20.

Union Pacific (NYSE:UNP), Honeywell (NYSE:HON), Hewlett-Packard (NYSE:HPQ): Cramer would lighten up on stocks that have made parabolic moves and is not disappointed with the drop in UNP, since the rails "do not have to be up every day." He would buy HON if it comes down and although he doesn't like tech, Cramer thinks HPQ is going to be strong. He would avoid botto- fishing in insurers and banks.

Nucor (NYSE:NUE): Although Cramer doesn't usually care for secondary offerings, he is bullish on NUE because its steel will be used to rebuild China after the earthquake.
